Lady Eagles Soccer Coach: Fayla Junior

Ezell-Harding Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Fayla Junior as head coach of the Lady Eagle soccer program.

Academically, Coach Junior graduated from Goodpasture Christian School in 2012, earned a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Religion from Lander University in Greenwood, SC in 2016 and come August 2018, will graduate with a Master’s degree in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University with a concentration in Medicine, Society, and Culture.

Athletically, Coach Junior began her soccer career at age 4, leading her to play club soccer at age 8 and throughout high school. She earned a starting position on the Goodpasture Varsity soccer team in the 8th grade and remained a starter all 5 years of high school.  She played collegiate soccer for Lander University for 4 years. Overcoming a torn ACL, she trained and earned a starting position during her Junior and Senior years. Coach is excited to work with the women’s soccer team at Ezell Harding on the field, in the classroom and spiritually.

Along with her coaching responsibilities, Coach Junior will be teaching high school physics.
